I am sure there is a thread somewhere hidden in here and I just couldn't find it. So, I apologize if this has been covered.

I am looking to swap the heated power mirrors on my 1500 for those with the turn signals and puddle lamp. Can these be easily switched out with all functions working?

Thanks in advance.

I just added tow mirrors, with turn signals and puddle lights. The only thing I had to order was extra bracing and 3 nuts / bolts per side and add the option using AlfaOBD or dealer if if you don’t have Alfa.

Thanks. I am not looking to get the tow mirrors so I wonder if the extra bracing is needed. And apologies, but AlfaOBD?

Probably not required. I received a set of power fold chrome mirrors which I was going to replace the lights and do some wiring fixes but my truck is black so I went with black tow mirrors instead which March better and will sell the other ones later.

The AlfaOBD is a software / hardware program that allow you to set thing in the BCM which typically requires the dealer. (Bed lights, daytime running lights, lighting options tire size). The software is 49 dollars and the adapter was like 80 well worth it in my opinion.

Search the AlfaOBD on the forum there is a lot of great info.

Awesome, thanks man.

Have you ever heard anything about the Kool-Vue mirrors?

No sorry. The ones I will be listing will be the chrome from the Laramie I believe but will need light and a wiring fix. You can ask on the forum I am sure someone has an opinion or has used them.
