looking for a measurement from outside passenger mirror to outside driver mirror prior to purchase of a 2018 4X4 quad cab. My garage width may be an issue. I most likely will opt for the power folding mirrors. Can someone give me a measurement with them folder and open?

Thanks.

I can't find it now, but when I was recently looking to buy, I had the same concerns and found the measurements on another forum somewhere. I do know that you'll want to avoid the trailer tow package as it comes with the non-power-folding trailer tow mirrors which are 4" per side wider than the standard power folding mirrors.

In the end, what really satisfied me was finding a comparable truck on a local lot and test driving it home to test how it fit in the garage.

My 2014 RAM is 207 cm wide with mirrors extended. That's 82 inches or 6.7 feet.

I doubt they've gotten wider over the years?

I'll try to get to a dealer and measure. Do you know if the mirrors will stay folded in if you put the truck in drive. Looking to fold in mirrors when driving into garage.

They'll stay folded in until you press the button on the driver's door armrest. I often don't notice that they're still folded in until a mile or two down the road.

Thanks. Then door width wont be a problem.
Great forum by the way...been lurking for awhile getting a lot of info while deciding on the truck that's right for me.
