I recently bought a 2013 ram with a 5.7. The check engine light is on, it’s giving a #7 misfire (P0307) and cylinder 7 reactivation control performance (P1417). I changed the coil and it did not make it any better, in fact it might have got worse. If I put it in tow/haul mode it does not help and it seems to idle rougher when it’s at a complete stop when it is in tow/haul mode. I can also put it in the manual mode “6” and it does not make it any better. I have learned of the famous HEMI tick, but I don’t hear a tick like I do when I watch videos of the HEMI tick. I have found there is a leak on the passenger side manifold that makes a small tick, but you really can’t hear it unless you lean down by the manifold and this stops once the engine gets warm, but don’t see how that is causing the issues. Any suggestions
