Mixing Redline 5W-30 and PUP 5W-30

I have been mixing yellow jug Pennzoil and Redline for years.
1 qt of the Redline straight 30 racing oil (red bottle) has been what I have been using for the past few changes and the rest is either the 5-20 or 5-30 pennzoil - depending on season. I also add a pint of Lubegard - just because.

I have also mixed some of the 0-30 Redline (High Perf.) with the pennzoil before I went to the Racing 30 wt.

The 30 Wt. racing oil

• Each of these products has no less than 2200ppm of zinc and phosphorus for antiwear
• Each race oil product is a multi-grade, offering 2-4% more power than oil of a similar viscosity - 20WT is a 5W20, 30WT is a 10W30, 40WT is a 15W40, 50WT is a 15W50

Because of the high amount of zinc, I only use 1 qt as to not ruin the cat converter.

Yellow bottle as in conventional? This is an eye opening test, there are so many cheap synthetics you could probably replace yellow bottle for the same price, like Kirkland deal Costco. These guys have no horse in the outcome, they sell both products and this was their synthetic against their conventional. In hemi's as finicky as they are, consider at a minimum a cheap synthetic after watching that vid?

I ran 0W-40 Pup and a bottle of Lubegard in the wifes 6.4,then switched it over to 5W-30 Redline,and it was alot happier on 5W-30 Redline then it was on PUP 0W-40 and lubegard.
Lordco in Airdrie usually has Redline 5W-30 on the shelves,at least they did the last time i was buying Redline,so i'd imagine the Lordco's in Edmonton also carry it.
