I want to start out by thanking Matt at Moe's performance!! He was a huge help in getting me what I wanted for my truck. He is very easy to work with and I recommend everyone go through him for aftermarket parts. I am very happy with my truck and I appreciate all of the feedback from previous people who have posted about their mods. I will go through each part as I installed it on the truck.
87MM Throttle Body: I honestly noticed little to no difference when installing this on my truck. It was my first mod but I am sure it definetly helped out once I installed my intake and tune later on.
180 degree thermostat: My motor continues to run at 206-208. I am going to work on this more when I find time. I have flushed and put all new coolant in. I have tried the burp trick. Nothing seems to work, so I am going to try and get another thermostat and see if that is the problem.
Diablo Sport Tune: I personally was very disappointed with the 91 octane canned tune. It was very little upgrade from stock, and not worth the $600. Furthermore, once you get the Hemifever tune, this truck wakes up. I have always enjoyed driving my truck, but now I love it. Sean is very responsive, and gets back to you very quickly. His tune is amazing, and worth every single penny!!!
Vararam Intake: Definetly picked up a little bit of power that I could notice. It doesn't add a lot of noise like previous intakes I have installed on other cars, but I dont mind that. This thing looks mean!! Can't beat the old school look!!
TYC E-fan mod: I have a lot more room in the engine bay and it looks nice. Not much to say here.
Borla Catback Exhaust: I love this thing. It sounds great!! The 5" tips look amazing as well. It is definetly pricey, but to me it was 100% worth it. I have never heard another Ram so I have nothing to compare it to, but my truck sounds as good as I could ever imagine. Can't wait for long tubes though!! l0l
Catch Can: I waited the extra time and got the black version. It matches under the hood in my opinion a lot better than the stainless. Just did this today, will see some results in a few thousand miles I am sure.
