Yea well I plan to open mine in the next 1-2 weeks... I was only making sure everything was good before I cracked them open. I guess I’ll be replacing the high beam projector with something led.

As for the fog light dropout, that’s another thing I plan to do with Alpha. Can’t wait to use it.

Yea the hid bulb needs the ballast and igniters for power and to ignite the gases in the hid bulb.

I thought my high beams looked "high" as well, but have not tried them since I put LEDs in place of the halogens the lights came with. Hopefully not an issue, since Ive already opened, modified and closed mine.

I got my high beams working and adjusted to the right level
Now the low beams are dangerously low like i can't see 10 feet in front of me. i will pull the headlights tomorrow and make sure they are seated correctly
If not i may get hold of modifystreet and see what my options are

Curious i had sylvania zte bulbs in my quads on the bright light bulbs
Can i run these in the projector modifystreet headlights in the high beam projector?
Thanks

I think the highs in these just have a different high beam effect then what you are use to. I retrofitted mine with profile pivot Hi-Lense Led highbeam projectors and have a similar issue I guess. It does feel that you are lighting more upwards than forwards but I believe it's the design of the high beam projectors. Since these headlights don't have a shutter and it's a fixed cut-off it doesn't give you the high beam affect. Going from quads where there is no real cut-off to these projectors the constant low beam cut-off over powers the high beam scattered output it gives a different appearance. In comparison my girlfriends 2018 chevy Silverado here factory projectors don't have nearly as sharp of a cut-off line as these do, it's a faint cut-off and her highs a a little more focused then mine even before I retrofitted mine. So I really think it's the design of the high beam projectors and not a problem with your headlights

I have the high beam adjusted probably a little higher than they should be. Now when i turn to low beam they do have a very noticeable cut of. And it's like 10 feet in front of the truck.
The high beam don't have the same cut off line i can see that. But when i have my low beam adjusted to the right height then when i turn on my high beam it's like I'm turning off my headlights they are aimed so high
Now i got them lowered where they light up the road and my low beam is pointing straight down almost
I can see the low beam cut off but it's directly in front of the truck then i can't see much of anything beyond that beam cut off when the lows are on.
I am getting ready to pull them out and make sure all is good in there
Thank you

Not quite sure how to tell if "all is good in there".

Everything looked OK to me when I had them apart. The projector bowls looked correctly installed, they weren't visibly out of position, etc.

The only thing I could think of is turning the LED 90 degrees, so the LEDs themselves aim 12 and 6 instead of 9 and 3 like I have them now. Low beams seem correct at 9 and 3, maybe the high beams need to be opposite?

I have them out now just making sure the bulbs are set in there ok i think is all i can really check
The bulbs are halogen that came with them but if i can figure out the ballast and all I'm going to go ahead and put the hid bulbs in the low beam while i got it apart

Are you talking about repositioning the tab on the light fixture itself to a different position?
Then putting the metal locking wire back on

I used 2 sets of LEDs for low and high beams. They each are "repositionable" in the sense that there is an adapter you snap in place of the original H7 base, then the bulb portion clicks into the adapter. You can remove and click the bulb portion in at different increments.....if it were a clock, I have it clicked in so the LED elements themselves are pointed to the sides (9/3). In both the highs and lows.

However...the only time I used them at night, I had the halogens in the highs. I have not tried with the LEDs in the highs, so maybe that makes a difference....if I get a chance I will try it tonight.

Oh ok gotcha
I am not doing the hid upgrade till i get these figured out I'm not sure what to do as far as adjusting them
The bulbs are set in flat and look line there isn't much adjusting the bulb/ socket itself so i guess I'll contact modifystreet and see what to do lol
