I just bought these headlights from modifystreet and they look great i got a couple questions for y'all
With alphaobd i do not need the canbus corrector right?
I just need to go into bmc and change to led?
I plugged these in and the bright light is not coming on has anyone installed these.
The low beam, parking, and turn signal work i haven't wired the drl yet just checking function before i get that far
No instructions came with the headlight and i was thinking i could change something in alphaobd to not need the canbus error corrector or the resistors
I got the 55w 6000k package with these lights
Thank you all for any and all info to help me get these working right

You need that. It’s the actual ballast that fires the HID bulb. It may have some “canbus corrector” stuff built inside of it, but still enable the high intensity discharge headlamps feature under vehicle config 3.

When I added my Modifystreet headlights, I added the dedicated DRLs to my truck that came with Quads originally.
I followed the write up found on the first page of AlfaOBD to enable the DRLs, they come on when the truck is in gear.. I have them set to drop out if I use the turn signal and I can turn them off through the 8.4 radio.
https://www.ramforum.com/threads/alfaobd.123982/

I bought pigtails to add my dedicated DRL circuits from Mike at: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/m²-mods-intro-project-list.98332/

Ok got them all connected there is a bulb in the high beam projector
I turned them on while truck running they all work now and no notifications in the evic
I haven't wired up the drl yet
Maybe the H7 is an extra light?
To my understanding i can program the truck with alphaobd so the canbus don't throw an error?
Without using the resistors
I am working on writing the drl now i am looking for the keyed/ ignition fuse to use
Just any one in the fuse box under the hood?
Thanks again

Ok sorry for the dumb question
Is the H7 HID bulb?
If so is the bulb that came in the headlight assembly ok to run without the ballast?
Cause so far I'm not getting any error messages
If that's the case I'll run what's in there till i get a chance to swap them out

One more question
Where would i run the remote wire to
Are the spare fuse slots something i could use
I don't see a slot for daytime running lights or i would think i could plug in there and activate it with alphaobd
Electrical is definitely not a strong suit of mine

The circled pins get plugged into the h7 connector inside the headlights. So unplug the current halogen bulb in the low beam, remove that bulb, insert the black wire to the black wire in the connector and the red to the blue side.

The bulbs that come pre-installed in the headlights are h7 halogen bulbs

If you want the truck to turn the DRLs on, you would have to add wiring to the plug below the fuse block if your truck didn't come with factory projectors. There is a large connector you would have to check if you already have the wires coming from the BCM(if your truck is an SLT or higher they should be there) and then add the wiring to that.
The DRL module that comes with the Modifystreet lights gets wired to a constant and switched circuit, probably easiest to use fuse taps.

Excellent thank you
I will look at that in a few days that's where my confusion was i though they were already in there lol
I have everything working with the halogens and i found a blank acc port in the under hood fuse box only powered when key is in acc or on
I ran red wire to battery, black wire to clean bolt since it wouldn't reach after i got it all in
The drl work perfect now
All i need to do now is change my turn signals to led in alphaobd to get rid of turn signal out light right?
I ran a test light on the spare fuse slots with key on and they were all dead lol
Thanks again y'all

I found an acc fuse block to put it in
They are now working with the key cycling to acc
They have an inline fuse and module and are working great
My truck is a tradesman

You need to change the turn signals and running(parking) lights to LEDs, they are listed separately in AlfaOBD.

You can run them in the high beams but I'd start with them in the low's.

You adjust them through the same spot as your factory lights. You'll need a long #2 Phillips head screw driver. Looking down through the whole you can see the gear for the adjustment. Stick the screw driver in the gear and turn slowly. If it seems like all it's doing is bouncing then you don't have the screw driver properly seated.

I haven’t bothered to check but is there a way to separately adjust the high beam projector? I know how to adjust the low beam projector but never bothered to see if it was also adjusting the high beam. The way the Ram oem lights are built, I’m guessing these are the same way and the high beam adjusts when you adjust the low beam. Correct me if I’m wrong though because my low beam is adjusted properly but my high beam is super high up and unusable.

There is only the one adjustment screw that I know of.
Disable the foglight drop out so when you turn your highs on, you have all three...lots of light downrange.
