What are the perks for a throttle body spacer?

Not a spacer.
Spacers are worthless if you aren't using them as an insert for Nitrous.
This is a ported (enlarged) factory throttle body.
Factory contour does not give full diameter at WOT. By machining you get 5-8% more diameter at WOT without ruining your idle or needing customized tuning.
