Today, I hit the track with a few local customers, and 1 of them is in a 2013 crew cab that we were testing our new heads/cam package on. His cam is a bit smaller than mine because we were trying to make more power in the low-mid range rpm to get the heavy truck moving. He ended up running best times all around with a 1.68 60', 8.05 in the 1/8th mile, and a 12.75 @ 105MPH in the 1/4. This truck weighs 5100lbs with driver, so we are very impressed with the results. With some more fine tuning from Hemifever and some better air, I think this truck is going to beat the all time 4 door 5.7 N/A hem record of 12.56.

Stay tuned as we will be adding this heads/cam package to the website very soon. We want to get a few more track sessions on the setup to make sure it is consistent, but it looks very promising right now.

So exciting!! A better torque converter for the 8spd is still a month or two away if everything goes smooth in that process yes?

He has a 2013 1500 with 6sp transmission.

Full bolt ons, Heads/Cam, 4.56 gears, Edge 3400 stall converter, M&H 275/50/17 Drag Radials, 5100lbs Race weight.

Sweet, Congrats on the success.

If you need a California Test mule I'll Gladddddly volunteer up the R/T :roflsquared:.

With those number and the cam head swap I'm betting I could get the R/T into the low 12's... maybe even 11's.

I can PM you or email you to not get into details in open forum but how do you think that those heads would take to a set of screws aka 5-12psi of boost? I know the cam would take a different dial in?
