There's no downside to either one, but be aware that the Mopar is made by K&N but you pay a premium for it being "Mopar", so you could just buy the K&N and save some money.
Many have reported the S&B has great fitment & quality- that's the direction I'm going any month now after much research.

Mopar intake is made by AEM, not K&N.

Between the 2, I would go with the S&B hands down. I dont like that he Mopar intake doesnt get rid of the restrictive intake tubing, and especially for the added price.

Personally, if you aren't going for full on track times, I would go S&B. If the RIPP deal doesn't go through with web, I will be selling my vararam after my next few track attempts and getting the S&B just to have it for the better, tighter, daily driving fitment and reliability. Not that anything is wrong with the vararam, just i don't like how it's not fixed to anything.

Not what I'd like to hear especially from you....LOL
I have mine (vararam) arriving this week but heavily considering on sending it back and grabbing the S&B as I hear nothing but great things and it looks damn good
Plus it's cheaper.

First off the s&b w/0 second scoop is cheaper. But without the air scoop your not getting cold air to your truck.

Good point!
And with that second scoop, it ends up costing more than the vararam.
Either way, I sold my vararam the moment it came in. Lol
