When I bought this truck the first thing I did was go to the tint shop and get the front windows and windshield tinted. It literally had less than 50 miles on it in the tint shop.

Fast forward 2 years to today, It finally dawned on me to tint the back windows darker to eliminate headlights and people looking in. Dropped it off for a layer of 20% over the factory tint. I'm much happier now.

Just for kicks I threw on some tinted plate frames. Hoping to do the tail lights this weekend if I get time.

Im really wanting to do my windshield. Have the fronts matched to the back. Figured maybe a 50% over the back glass and 35 on the front windshield with a 5% low brow.

Sent from somewhere with confusion.

I did the same with front windows and windshield. Have been considering doing the rear windows. But might do 50% instead of 20%. Your 20% over stock 20% probably effectively gives you about 4%. 50% would put it at about 10%.

Any side shots? I like how closely my fronts match my rear windows now, and wouldn't want the mismatch to be too obvious (like it is when people have factory 20% rears and only 35% fronts).

I have matching front & back 20% with a 12" brow on my windshield! Wish I had the entire shield done with 20%

I've done that to the past two trucks. With the limo and oem privacy tint in the back you can see anything looking in no matter what. It's good if you have kids too so they're not crying the sun is in their eyes and it put them to sleep quicker so the ride is quieter. The fronts I just have them do the 20% up front so you can still see out the sides at night.

I wish I would have gone with a layer of 5% in the back but it is good enough. Still really dark, no seeing in at all.

I also have all black interior minus the headliner so that keeps it even darker. The grey cloth seats were swapped for black leather when I purchased.

I'm not sure how many folks have had someone in the back seat tear down, clean, and assemble a machine gun while cruising down the interstate but if you ever have you'd really appreciate the dark tint. While everything that occurs in my truck is legal according to which ever 3 letter agency is regulating, the general public tends to freak out and cops get called.
