They came to my shop complaining about that., if they really had it or it was a friend of them I don’t know, all I know is that they came out with that. FYI, I have seen some on media’s with those lamps already!
Again this is not my lamps, or product I. Just sharing here what they said about .

As far as I know, the only thing that is out is a couple of rapid prototyped (in other words, 3d printed) sets sent out for early advertising & functionality checks. If, by some chance, your customer actually saw those in person, fitment problems are to be expected, that's what testing with prototypes is for, to find and correct such issues.

I know they will probably said that for the ones they gives the new products for a half price to get them tested and you just pay a really low money instead of full price, I will have to ask them to let you know then.

Also the production version will look different. The side marker will be smoked and the chrome bezels will be a black chrome.

You know when you pop into a thread and flat out lie with absolutely no knowledge of the products you’re lying about, and then you try to delete your lies they really don’t go away if people quoted your comment [emoji23]. Says a lot about what kind of business you run. Now I know to never buy anything from you. I hope more people go through the thread and realize it also.

These new Morimoto headlights look like cheap $120 ebay headlights.
Part of me agrees. I think they look nice but then there’s a part of me that feels the way you just described.

Either way the only way I’d even look into them is if they made them with a chrome backhousong option instead of the black plastic.

All the pictures floating around of them is a 3D printed mock up. So yeah they’ll look cheap. The production version will be made of the finest plastics and ceramic coated for protection. The chrome bezels will really be black chrome and the side markers will be smoked. Morimoto is on top of the aftermarket lighting game. I love their products.

The answer is no. They will be very close but not as quite as good, but it won’t be noticeable because the optics on the Morimoto housings will be far better than any stock projector or quad headlights. They will put the light beam in the right places. Also the LED housings are easier to install than an HID kit, HID kits have many more components that can fail vs LEDs, and you won’t have any bulbs burning out with LEDs vs HID bulbs only lasting 2 to 4 years if that.

Here is the output comparison of the LED housings vs the stock projectors. 322778160213300f474b2a0558a99c77.jpg742a0cc326052586e358bb81972e24b5.jpg2db9bd820d75d1ebf0d6e8e51df8cd28.jpgd590bd69fca141fe4d00b3a84e506d10.jpg

For ~$1300, I would hope that the 2nd pic down is not the final product lighting/cutoff pattern.

What’s wrong with the cutoff

In my opinion, I will not pay over $1k on aftermarket cheap plastic lamps., period. I believe there is more options cheap and with better results but that’s my opinion once again my own opinion.

Cheap plastic? Lol here you go again.

You already lied once about these lights. You have absolutely know knowledge of these lights you didn’t even know that they weren’t even released yet. How can you say they’re cheap plastic [emoji23] you’re killing your business you need to stop.

Sorry but I really appreciate if you stop responding or going straight to me for no reasons, I am just saying what I think and how I feel about same as you do and I don’t even reply to what your thoughts are, so please admit and respect others opinion. You seems like an “undercover trs account” or somebody that is really just no leaving anyone share their opinions., anyways no hard feelings against you, but just let anyone share what they think or what not. Thanks and you have a great day.

I dont appreciate you lying to us to sell products and am working on getting a hold of an admin to stop you. I’ve already sent several PMs warning them about you. You’re not just giving opinions. Saying the plastic is cheap is not an opinion it’s bashing another product you’re spitting lies. And I’m not an undercover trs account. What you see in me is what you get when you don’t lie to your consumer base and have good products. It’s called a satisfied customer.

I believe “you” are not a customer from us ., and I don’t lie I say what I think and I share my opinion about what I want to talk about it what not is my own opinion . I’m not here to try to fight or to make you feel mad about anything because we run our own business which is not to lie or make anyone to no buy what they really want to pay for, that’s not me and that’s now what I do and that’s not what I’m here so please you can either stop resolving to my or just ignore what my opinions are ., that’s what it is opinion and like it or not is just personal opinion. Thanks and I will continue here helping others and sharing information and more opinions. Again and last time ., please if you don’t want me or don’t want to see what my opinions are,, simply don’t respond or reply to my messages here. Thanks and need to get back to work. Thanks again for your communication.

Just like how you say you have all these customers coming to you and complaining about a product that isn’t even out yet. Then when you’re busted trying to go back and erase what you said? You will be stopped my friend I’m just waiting for an admin to respond. I’ve taken plenty of screenshots against you. I feel bad for the people who use you as a vendor.

Huge hot spot in the center that bleeds above the cutoff- this would probably be directly in the rear view mirror of a midsized car. A residual streak of light above the cutoff line on the left- this would catch an oncoming driver’s eye. Shadowing down low.

Mpress2570 - we get it you’re excited for your headlights. You like Morimoto products and want to defend your choice to spend money on them but not everyone’s going to like them. Yeah I know Vanquish’s tone is a little off putting but just deal with him not agreeing with you so it can go to sleep

It’s not like either of you are swaying peoples’ opinions

Vanquish - we get it you sell headlights that aren’t Morimoto and want to defend why you think your headlights are better

But in all honesty can you guys leave the topic alone...they’re just headlights after all and if Mpress is happy with buying Morimoto then isn’t that enough for him to be happy with his own truck? The truth is no one else really cares what headlights he goes with

And vanquish you’d do yoursef a huge favor by letting your work/products speak for themselves and stick to promoting them and maybe offering tech advice to members.

A good forum sales tactic would be to come off as helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve never seen bashing competitors turn out well instead of just doing the honest thing like I described above.

Again.....the only way you’re going to gain business here is by winning people over with knowledge and helpfulness on top of letting your products speak for themselves.

Good luck to both of you lol

That’s because of the room that they are filming in. It’s daytime outside and it’s showing reflections. I saw the same thing and was concerned. This may ease your mind although I see a U shaped reflection which I’m guessing is coming off of the chrome bezel. Also they are mock ups made off a 3D printer so I’d imagine the final product may look different. a321d617230baf1ea9f3978b9ac93dd8.jpg

Although I agree. I have been scammed as I’m sure you have by people in the past. I do not appreciate being lied to. I’m not effecting by people thinking it’s a stupid buy or ugly or whatever. It bothers me a lot though that I come here and try to get honesty and integrity when i need help or am buying something. And someone coming in and lying to me then trying to cover it up is not cool. But it will be left up to the admins once i get one to respond. He just pushed me over the edge by calling them cheap to sway people from a product that he knows nothing about. He didnt even know that he was bashing a product that hasn’t even been released yet. I have zero respect for that. But it is being sent to admins and even if nothing is done about it it’s still going to be in there memory of something else happens in the future.

For $1300 they could at least male them look better than some cheap ebay lights. They look similar to these

They’re designed to look like housings that if you didn’t know any better you’d think they came on the truck from the factory. It’s definitely not a flashy look with colors halos or custom looking orientation. Which is definitely not for everyone. I like them because I like the 2019 ram headlight style and these are based off of the 2019s obviously. Also it removes the need for HIDs. Which coming from someone who runs HIDs it’s great that there is an led option. Way less maintenance and components that can fail.

For the guys who like the custom look and want rgb halos and running lights they did keep them in mind by making them easy to open up and customize.
