They’re designed to look like housings that if you didn’t know any better you’d think they came on the truck from the factory. It’s definitely not a flashy look with colors halos or custom looking orientation. Which is definitely not for everyone. I like them because I like the 2019 ram headlight style and these are based off of the 2019s obviously. Also it removes the need for HIDs. Which coming from someone who runs HIDs it’s great that there is an led option. Way less maintenance and components that can fail.

For the guys who like the custom look and want rgb halos and running lights they did keep them in mind by making them easy to open up and customize.

I agree...very glad to see morimoto is not making their new headlights with any *** halos. Whoever invented halos needs to be shot.

Oh god say it aint soo!!! Do you really have halos??? If so, im blocking you! Lol
My headlights were so fogged up I had to replace them and the fog light housings so I could see again at night. The fogs are oe, but I got a deal on the headlights as a clearance item and they've been good for the couple years they've been on the truck. I like the look. May even get a matching **** ring to go with them and make it easier to find my way around the house at night.

That’s because of the room that they are filming in. It’s daytime outside and it’s showing reflections. I saw the same thing and was concerned. This may ease your mind although I see a U shaped reflection which I’m guessing is coming off of the chrome bezel. Also they are mock ups made off a 3D printer so I’d imagine the final product may look different. a321d617230baf1ea9f3978b9ac93dd8.jpg

I don’t see what y’all are seeing. That’s phenomenal output and pattern. Blows away the stock crap. The cutoff has nothing to do with it. There are sharp cutoffs, soft cutoffs straight and angled.

Like you said sharp cutoff I guess...... based off the pic, me personally I don’t like that cut off. Could be because it’s in a room and not open field or street. I just wish they would take better pictures in real world scenarios vs garage shots. Like I said they could have picked a better picture. I guess we really won’t know til someone receives their set of lights.

Many have asked them for some night shots but they haven't provided any that I've seen. When asked, TRS have directly said they are better than stock but not better than HID's as far as light output and how far the light output will project. Having HID's already, I'm not so sure I'd pay that much for something that looks cool and give up light output in the process. I mean if you're trying to sell lights you'd think some night shots would be among the first pics you'd post up. Not doing so, to me, is a little sketchy.

The main point of them is they’re going to be much better than stock and way more reliable than HID. Which is why you see all the luxury car brands going for LED. The beam pattern is also very wide which is important. Who knows what the finished product will look like.

i am in the market go buy somethng for fogs, and have heard from lots of guys that morimoto fogs are nice and wide beam pattern, but suck at distance verse stock housings with LED bulbs.
Hence why i just bought a set lf stock housings with LED bulbs installed. Morimoto is way overplayed. One guy says they are gold, and everyone jumps aboard.

Couldn’t agree more with this...... they look like some pretty sweet lights that I will rock for sure. It’s the current pics that are out that are not doing these light justice. I don’t drive in my garage so I don’t need a garage pic I need an open street real world pic.

These lights do look cool don’t get me wrong and I guess if your someone who wants more light output and your currently running a set of HIDs in the projectors then this is not for me/them. But if your running stock projectors or quads this is a step up for looks as well as light output

I've seen many people on GM truck forums that have done Morimoto retrofits & love them. They claim great output, pattern, & few (if any) flashes from oncoming traffic. These guys are also people who are willing to open housings & be perfectionists when mounting the projectors. I'll admit, my skill isn't the best & my wallet would scream ****** murder if I bought the proper parts & did a retrofit myself. If someone like me wants to use a good product, we would have to pay up. The good news for people in my position is other people will step in to be the first to use some new product. We'll have to rely on their opinions to decide if we want to part with our cash.

Here is a picture of what Morimoto LEDs can do. This just isn’t off of a ram.

I see plenty of distance in this photo

The output will not be as good as hid by it will be very very close. The big thing with LEDs is they’re way easier to install and way more reliable

One other thing I haven't seen answered is, the warranty and how it's handled. Will the LED's be changeable or do you have to ship the entire headlight back to them and possibly wait a week or two or longer? If so, keep those stock headlights for these situations.

This looks great..... but that’s what I’m trying to say is the pics that are currently out just plain suck. We need pics just like this in real world. I get it this is not a ram and just an example but if it’s anything like this then they are on to something. We just have to wait to get some real pics that will tell the true story that’s all

The LEDs aren’t replaceable in any type of LED housing. Whether it’s a car with LEDs from the factory or after market led HOUSING or led projectors. If you were to have a problem they would send you a whole new housing and you send the bad one back. They’ll likely ask for a 50 to 100 dollar deposit and refund you when they receive the bad light.
