Did you try the sequential signals? Also I remember reading way back in the original thread that the DRL had to be disabled and use the fuse tap or it would cause problems? How about radio static? I think that was the problem on the F150 lights.

If you got the expedited shipping. They only sent out a small batch. The rest are on a shipping container said to arrive late March.

I do not believe he is using the fuse tap. He enabled his DRLs through AlfaOBD

I looked but didn't find anything. Posted in the Alfa thread asking for help.

Great review, pics and video. Looked like a fusetap in one of the pics

AlfaOBD can help you set everything to LED, eliminate the PWM and disable the error codes

Almost all of my stuff is set to LED from the factory because I had factory projectors. Where would I go to disable the error code for turn signals?

Errors work the other way too, if it’s set to led and has too much resistance now it’ll throw a code.

Okay good to see I was thinking the same thing. Turned off LED on the turn signals and no change.

Also, so your saying when headlights are in 'auto' highs don't work?? I have my lights set on auto all the time, I let the sensors go high/low at night. So 'auto' doesn't work now???

No not the auto high beam. It's the flashing the high beam during the day when your headlights are off. I feel like mine is an isolated issue.

So your saying that for some insane reason your truck does not allow you to flash high beams during the day......thats seems very serious. Not that I flash alot just saying.

Definitely an annoying issue. Both the merge lights and the turn signals. But it’s not a Morimoto it I a ram issue. The canbus systems are so sensitive. Every truck acts differently. The lights were tested on a what I believe was 2017 so any issues with the lights that were diagnosed were issues that guys with 2017s will see. At least that is my theory.

Just did some testing with my Alfa. I think they've got the wires reversed. I ran the high beam shutter test and the high beam kicked on. Run the high beam test and the shutter clicks. I'll look more into it.

They looks really nice, and that output picture looks promising, very clean and crisp in comparison to stock. I feel as if for the price they are charging, these should be top notch with 0 issues.... regardless of what they tested them on, they are charing an extremely high price for these lights so much so they have a very small margin for error.

They should be plug and play with no issues at the price they are charging, at this point they are to expensive for a "maybe" out of the box.... maybe someday.

It just sucks that you have to open the truck back up. Hope I don’t have these issues. We will see tonight

Honestly I’ve been taking headlights on and off these 4th Gens for years it’s something I can do in 5 minutes.

Glad the fix is free and in the works.

Yeah it’s not hard to do it’s just hard on all the retainers. Luckily I have a ton of replacements
