I have been researching the same ideas for My build and install. I have found some great ideas as well. Here is a pick I found on MDF with metal bracket that utilizes the child safety attachments behind the seat. No drillin very stout. Also has a bracket on bottom the attaches to seat bolt brackets.

Yeah I thought it was really nice work. This is not my build but I like the idea of running mdF across the whole back and fastening into the child safety and seat bolt mounting points. I then would be able to add foam and deadner to the back help to reduce roadnoise.

Here is a pic in the truck.

that there is a nice set up!

I only had 2 amps to put in. I put one 4 channel under my drivers seat on MDF board with Velcro on the carpet side. covered the sides of the amp/mdf with color match felt sub box carpet.

The other, I actually removed my center 40/20/40 armrest/console (just the padding not the whole frame) and put the sub amp under there. I installed an LED light strip as well while I was at it to not only tell me the sub is powered on but to give some ambient foot well lighting. waited to dial in the sub level and crossover then reassembled the seat cushion.

That does look really clean. I put my amps under the seats and the dsp is under the dash on the passenger side (see pic).
Second pic is the back panel, it might help with ideas... Oh, don't forget sound deadening. :favorites13:

Looks like my old set up in my 06 sierra crew cab

crappy pics but here is a few, i did have the other cap for the end of the amp just wasnt in the pics

A Rockford Fosgate Stack! reminds me of my 02 Silverado build... I wasn't too concerned about making too pretty since it was hidden behind the seats..lol

I still have the truck and the stereo gear works perfectly after 12-years. Just had to replace the JL Audio sub cause the foam surround disintegrated but learned later I could have had the foam replaced.

Nice! Mine worked absolutely perfect and when I traded in the truck for my 02 Saleen I smooth forgot to take it all out. When I realized it a week later I smooth kicked myself in the ass about it!

The thing I liked about mine is I lucked up and found the actual link with the volt meter. Was a killer setup and I'm considering buying another one of those Amps for my ram
