I'm new here so I would imagine the MPG's has already been covered many times in the past. So I apologize up front. Anyway, I have a 2010 Big Horn Quad Cab, 5.7L and my drive (round trip) to work and back each day is 24 miles of country roads (about 45 mph). I averaged approx 14 mpg. After I replaced my spark plugs it went up to 17 mpg. If I hop of the expressway the mpg jumps way up to 21 mpg.

So I was wondering what everyone else gets.

Thanks,

the MPG ratings of everyone's trucks is so varying its hard to say what an average is...

that's epic mpg though if that's your average town driving ! I would do a back flip for that kind of mpg !

I have not actually gone through a full tank of fuel yet of ( normal driving ) without taking trips etc etc. once I get down my first 2 or 3 tanks ill report my average. I would be hype for 13.5 lol, considering my 12' express avg. was 11.8 mpg

Even with my mods, I currently get 11.5 city. I rarely get on the hwy. truck has 3.55s, is 2WD, has 1700 miles on it and I just put royal purple synthetic in 2 weeks ago.

I am getting about 13.5 and live a mile from work and its a "got Torque" moment all the time for me. I unbolted the exhaust so people on base really know when I go to work lol

You are getting way better then me even before I put the ranch bumper up. My best was around 16/17 mostly way under that.
