Muffler ideas ?

I need a quieter muffler . I have a CB extrem and it is to dam loud for hunting season and I have noticed loss in back pressure on low end .

I want something that is not loud but quiet and mellow ?

Any thoughts ??

Get a big/long magnaflow, it will calm that thing down quite a bit over the CB while still keeping a decent tone to it, then pickup a cutout for the times you want to raise hell.

Borlas are also quiet for the most part, and only loud when you are on them

Was gonna say the stock muffler to but then that big tank of his would sound like a ****, at least with one of the big magnaflows it will still have a little rumble to it

well i was driving home from the woods and went down a big hill .. i took the foot off the gas and i could here my buddy ..lol i like that .. but when foot applied to gas i cant here **** .

Im getting older i guess .. anyone have a stock muffler or anything ? trade a new CB single in single out ??

at idle you can't hear it. and that vid the tone at idle is actually so low that the camera can't pick up on the whole note

Get the big magnaflow. I am running the one listed in my sig (I think it is the 28" or something like that) and it is really quiet even with the LT's and high flow cats. But still has a good tone at idle and on the gas.

Jason what about this one ... would this be quiet ? keep in mind this will just slip on after the cat , no resinator and will be dumped

From looking at the specs, I would bet they are not quiet. They both have pretty small case sizes at 14" and 13".

do you all think if i put resonator on the truck it would quiet it down ? How much if any ?

or just run a resonator and no muffler ??? Was looking at this one ..

A reso will calm it down some, but it'll still be loud.
