so i bit the bullet and finally just ordered an exhaust, well just the muffler. ill do a 5 inch tip swap down the road when i find a tip thats at least 8-10 inches long and will work with the stock Resonators. will post some sound clips once its here and installed.:********:

I absolutley love mine and get tons of compliments on how good it sounds. As soon as i get a chance im gonna get it permantly welded on, its a little lose. As far as tips go check out MBRP, I love mine and how the look, plus they work with the resonator. I used an rbp adapter to get them to work.

thanks for the info, im gonna try and find a tip that reduces down to a 2.50 instead of using an adapter

I think you'll have a hell of a time finding one that goes from 5 to 2.5

you probably right but i wont know till i try. im gonna try and see if they sell just the tips from the magnaflow kit.

i was just surfing the net reading some random posts on other forums and ive come across many people saying they have lost alot of lowend once they installed the magnaflow on there 4th gen hemi. any thoughts or remarks to this...

ive had maganflow on every truck Ive owned but theyve all been GM's. Loved the sound. I just dont know how much the Hemi is gonn alike it. Did you notice any low-end loss when u installed your cat-back on your new hemi?

i ordered it on friday, so hopefully less than 2 weeks. Ive had the 22 inch case on my previous chevs and it sounded good but was a little too quite for me so hopefully this gives me what i want.

Id get the magnaflow cat-back but they dont make one with a 14 inch case in a kit for the dodge with duals out the back, so hopefully this mufflex kit doesnt give me any problems.

14 will be too loud for my ears. Lol

They should give the option for the muffler size. But you can always do it.
By the catback kit. Sell the 22" (in sure someone will want it as its a perfect middle to the 18 and 24) and buy the 14 to put in its place.
