mufflex, whats the trick

seriously couldnt get the damn muffler off, beat the hell outa it with a 5lb dead blow, Im going to give it a day unclamped and see it it helps loosen it up. any trick on removal. Ive done it all when it comes to vehicle work , but Ill be damned if this didnt **** me off right quick. so any tricks for getting it off?, Ill try again tomorrow, maybe its just to new and doesnt want to come off yet

Spray it with a bunch of pb blaster or wd-40 then just wiggle and twist the crap out of it.

I also had a hell of a time getting the muffler off. I had to wiggle it up and down , left and right, and twist it back and fourth

bring the truck down to my house sunday. I'll help ya get it apart and back together. Get a better clamp for the 3" side also.

This is all I did. Took me all of 20 minutes to get it apart.

Don't focus so much on moving it backwards at first, get it to rotate freely, THEN work on moving it backwards.

Oh yea, take off the tips, then the tailpipes, then the muffler.

I got it, drove around for one day with the clamps undone and the thing came apart easy as hell, 20 mins tops, sounds fantastic!!!!

Old socks over the tips work great
