It took me most of my life to get a garage like I wanted,so many wasted hours on creepersI had a 69 GTO Judge original black exterior, 4 spd, Ram air III - I should have kept it, the black was pretty rare.
I still have, currently as a bench it appears in the garage a 1971 Cuda originally 383, 4spd, B5 color. It's one of a few hundred.
I really need to build a garage
My 1970 Olds W31. Not a 442. The W31 was the small block little brother to the 442. The W31 had the 325HP 350. Other than that and the red inner fenders they were the same car. Mine had factory 3.91 12 bolt posi, Muncie close ratio M21 4 speed, factory ram air hood. The oddest thing was the Quadrajet they had. There were no primary metering rods. First time I pulled that carb apart I thought someone had been in there and forgot to put them back in. Found out that was factory. The camshaft did not provide enough vacuum at idle to hold the metering rods up so they eliminated them and used smaller jets. They actually worked great. They were also worth a bundle if you needed one. I paid $700 for the car in 1988 from the original owner with 51,000 miles on it. Shortly after I bought it some lady from New Jersey called me and offered me something like $500 for the factory aluminum intake. And I know the hoods were selling for $700 or so. Not to mention the carb, M21 and 12 bolt. I didn't sell any of it. Restored the whole car. Sold it 3 years later for $10,000. Now it would be worth about $50,000. Of all the cars I have had this is the one I would really want back.I do not have a Muscle car, but my first choice would be a 68-69 Charger with 426 hemi, My second choice would be a 70-73 Charger with same engine. My third Choice would be a Plymouth Duster with a 340 4bbl. My 4th would be an Olds 442 Big Block 455, with 4 on the floor!
Nice car, true 400, or 403?My all original 79 trans am, my pops bought in new in July 79 and passed down to me View attachment 470277View attachment 470272View attachment 470273View attachment 470274
Reminds me of the 72 Gran Sports. A friend of mine had one: White Vinyl Top, Yellow body, with rimmed Cragars, not the fastest car, but looked fine.My 72 Buick. Mild 455 big block, dyno'd at 532hp 567lb/ft. plus a 200 shot, 4 speed Muncie. Frame off restored/rebuilt/repainted all in house by me and a few friends. It was my first car, purchased in 99 and daily driven all through high school.

P.s. Love seeing all these A body GM's! I know this is a Mopar site, love them too, but the Chevelle/Cutlass/GS/Monte Carlos will always be my first love.
Nice, I would keep that puppy clean and in a garage or tarped, LOL...My all original 79 trans am, my pops bought in new in July 79 and passed down to me View attachment 470277View attachment 470272View attachment 470273View attachment 470274
Had a 1970, same car, but green, white top, same 350 motor. I also had a 68 2 door rag top (Cutlass Supreme). Now why didn't I have the brain power to keep one of them, DUH, on my part.My 1970 Olds W31. Not a 442. The W31 was the small block little brother to the 442. The W31 had the 325HP 350.
