No truck now a days is inexpensive. This one cost more than my first three houses combined but that being said what does a house cost these days.

yeah the time to buy new was about 5 months ago or better said would be before two msrp increases. I missed it by one. The trade values were high still as well. Of course you had to order one and get a deal. Now I don't know if it's a good time all around. you're paying around 4 to 5 more just on the base price now so even if you get 5 or 6 or 7 off you're still paying more than you would have a few months back.

Also on a side note......and I don't mean to offend anyone......but why don't I like the newest generation of trucks in black and I loved my 18 in black? I can't put my finger on why.

I love my '17 in all black.

But the new ones I think have too much flat black on the front that I don't have. They've got plastic flat-black surrounds around the headlights where on mine the fender comes right to the headlights. That's about the only thing I can think of.

Like don't get me wrong it's still a pretty truck. I just prefer mine in black better.

Now the blue ones...*drool*

Exactly. I got super lucky and got my 75th new from a dealer outside Detroit for $68k in July. MSRP was $73k. No clue why they let it go cheap and I had ZERO interest in asking them about why.

During my last oil change my salesman told me that he could buy my 1 year old PW with 10k miles from me for what I paid for it ( which was about 5K less than MSRP) and still sell it for the MSRP.

I bought mine the first of September. Got 3 thousand off the sticker. Which at that time was pretty good

I found my dream truck last year at dealership who had no clue what they had. Only was in the market for a truck since my other truck was totaled in an accident the week prior. It’s a 2016 Ram Minotaur. I would take my Minotaur over a TRX.

I kinda wish I had gone trx but I forget to remind myself that the trx was 30k more and hard to justify. Only thing that is tough for me is how bad the mileage is. I mean. I expected bad. But not single digits in the city. Right now I get 8.5 towing about 4,000 pounds.
