Little update on my Ram. Not been a good experience. Let me know if anyone else has had this problem. At 155 miles the fuel pump went out and had to be replaced. Now I made it to 850 miles (695 miles on new fuel pump), and now once again no fuel pressure. It's at the dealer they have not said what it is yet but I am guessing it is the fuel pump again. Any thoughts?
Two bad fuel pumps. That has to be some high statistical odds for that to happen. Makes me think something else is amiss.
That's what I'm saying. Brand new expensive ass truck, tell em to give you a new one.

I see your point but there is not another one like it at any dealer in Florida or surrounding states. It is exactly how I wanted it and don't want to give up on her yet. That's what I'm saying. Brand new expensive ass truck, tell em to give you a new one.
Yea I am going to give them another chance but if it happens a third time I do not see another option but to start bit*ching.I am a "three strikes" guy with things like this and would give them one more chance to get it right and figured out before jumping up and down about things.
Most shops would have done the same thing on the first failure of the pump and put a replacement pump in. The true test is if they now put the time in to actually figure it out or shotgun another pump and hope for the best.
So found out today that it was the fuel pump again. Service dept said they checked and it has good ground and power. So they have no idea why 2 pumps have failed.
.........There's no way 3 fuel pumps were bad in a row. No way. I bet there's something else going on there. I hope not. But I'm just saying.
I heard a rumor that there might be a problem where the computer kinda forgets to turn off the fuel pump when truck is shut off. But like I said just a rumor. However it might explain what is going on.
How many has it been? That's crazy... it's a brand new truck.Guess what 1150 miles and another fuel pump bites the dust. WTF? Time to lemon law I guess. Even though I really do not want to.![]()
