Yea!

I didn't even know that was their fb page.

You should comment on there "looks like his truck needs some off road bumpers!"

Agreed, kinda. Are you talking about me or the brands?

I was just messin... I would love to get discounted mods from being sponsored, but I hate SM, no fingers pointed at anyone. The only thing that makes me sad (and I look at it from both sides) is that all this money in lifts, wheels and tires, lights, etc. and it's strictly used for trolling the pavement. At the other view, I understand throwing 25-30K into your truck to fix it up and not wanting to scratch it, but this is just me... I'm a function over form type.

Agree, constant contact, not just once annually. I walk thru SEMA and know a ton of vendors...but I talk to them all the time. Not just at SEMA.

I'm jealous, Not being in the industry its hard to get into SEMA. I got invited one year through SAN (SEMA Action Network) best week ever in vegas.

I'd love to build the R/T into a SEMA truck or the R/T sponsored by a parts seller or such. Maybe when I get more serious about building it into a Pro-Touring Auto-X truck I'll look more into this... lots of good info in this thread.

Being that I tend to go to at least a dozen or two Car shows a year I'd have no problem showing of a shops work or manufactures parts. Maybe someday.

SEMA for me is the holy grail of shows, I love HRPT, but that's another type of event. But SEMA, a bigger version of PRI is the shows I love to attend.

I was blown away at what I saw. Seen it for years on TV but never thought it would be that awesome.

It was also at a time where a Buddy and I were thinking of opening our own Diesel shop, had alot of interface with many vendors about products and such and if they planned on developing some parts. made a lot of good contacts in the industry but we never started the shop.

Looking at doing that again soon so I need to find another way into SEMA when I get more serious about getting a custom speed shop going. No target market, basically anything with wheels. But mostly in the classic and diesel arena. One day... It will be my retirement hobby but right now its just a dream

GrayGoose, what is it that you do?

Its easy to get a pass, just someone with an automotive license, its pretty easy to get passes.
I like going out a few days early, we usually have a large group "get together or party" first day of SEMA. You can spend a day outside just looking at cars...then central hall to see all the new performance stuff...4 days of SEMA just isn't enough :D

I tried getting sponsorship from ici also but they must not have wanted my truck.... I did have to call them about some flex I have in my steps and they did tell me to give them a call when I want some off-road bumpers so maybe I'll get lucky with that.

I twisted off a couple bolts.. They sent me all new hardware overnight. Great customer service, but I would either call or use the chat feature.. Email is hit and miss.

I guess I should do a review sometime since a few guys were PMing me about them.

Would be awesome to get a hookup on some bumpers, especially one that has a winch mount.

Next time you go to SEMA, I'll happily be your guest. Or, just stuff me into your suitcase or something. :roflsquared:

But seriously, you can take me. :favorites13:
