Backing up in a big truck unable to see a small pole... The result? $50 for a tow truck to lift the truck up and off the pole and now I need a new bumper...

Anyone know if the Street Scene roll pans are just a simple bolt on application?

Sucks, you got out lucky compared to my mom. My mom did the same thing in a walmart once, They made her pay for a new pole, and to have it reconstructed. I think walmart alone cost my mom quite a lot. At the same time, a christmas donation guy was standing 10 feet away ringing his bell and watched my mom back into it. He should have waved his arms or something and stopped her. He just watched it happen.

Woulds got the underside of the truck nice and clean if you popped the hydrant. Sucks though, some roll pans are bolt on, not sure which ones though

Most roll pans that you get are bolt on, and even if they dont come with bolt holes, they will have that extra flap of metal and you can use self tapping screws. But my roll pan is welded on and it looks a lot better that way. You can buy roll pans off Ebay for like $100 and they come with the bolts and license plate light.... good luck!
