The wait for it to arrive is crazy! Ordered the truck Jan 21st.

For the first several weeks, I did not think about it. As time got closer, I started picturing me in it. As of two weeks ago (told it would be here Mar 18th), I started cruising through dealerships just to get a look at something similar to mine. On Monday I found a recently delivered and unlocked white Mega limited, so I got in, looked around and just sat there for a while. I even took a few pics. It felt great!

This morning I drove back through and saw a granite limited, etc, etc. My heart jumped...finally, it arrived. I immediately get out of my loaner Ram and look inside. My heart sinks as I look up and see it has a sunroof...not mine! This truck is almost what I ordered besides the sunroof and it did not have a CD player.

Just got off the phone with the dealer. He said the date was pushed to the 23rd. While he had me on the line, he called the rail head in Houston and confirmed it was there. He told them to put it in "hot" status. This means it will be put on the next truck to their dealership (Grapevine, TX) and he said it will be tomorrow morning, tomorrow late evening or Friday morning.

I have been in two different dealer loaner 1500's for about 6 weeks and I am def ready to be in my own truck. I have several things patiently waiting in boxes that will be installed as soon as I get my hands on the truck.

Hoping for tomorrow...my cousin (and land co-owner) is flying in from three month vacation in Peru so I'd like him to see it before he drives to West TX.

My truck:

Granite 2500 Mega Limited 4x4
6.4L Hemi
Cd Player
220 Amp alternator
Ctr Stop Lamp with Camera
Auxiliary switches
Rear Window Defrost
Anti-Spin rear diff.

Ugh I feel for you! It's like knowing what you're getting for Christmas a month ahead of time, but not being able to have it!

Sounds like a beautiful truck, looking forward to some pics!

Well, damn! That is a long wait. I hope mine doesn't turn out as long as yours. Looks like we got the same truck except mine is the non-limited Laramie. Post up pic of yours when you get it to make me feel like crap.:)

Yes. On the 2500's+ you can have the cargo camera and the regular tailgate camera.

It's about righttime wise, I was exactly 9 weeks from ordering to arriving. It was an easy wait the first couple weeks, the last few were eager weeks. lol

the fukn granite is soooooooooooo fukn nice.... ask me how i know

but i kinda regret getting it in this color

its just like fukn black, it shows bug ****, watermarks, dirt, lines first day i bring it into work parking lot, pulling up looking like new, going home 8 hours later looked like **** smfh fml

i now wish i gotten a goldish color or white or silver, those seem to cover up the dirtiness for a few weeks before i would actually think its dirty enough to warrant a wash

with this color i feel like i need to detail it daily

LOL! thats why i just ordered the white. It looks sweet with tires shined up and dark tinted windows. TWilliams has a nice one here. Any dark color is going to be hard to keep clean. I just sold a 14 black ram. I was going through quick detail spray on that like nothing. Couldnt keep up. I love the darker colors when theyre clean but Im too old for that ****. Bright red is good too. I was told silver actually stays the cleanest looking, IDK

^ LOL I have a love/hate relationship with black. I love it when it's clean, the black looks amazing, I hate it when it's dirty!

Traded a silver truck for my black edition, guess I have my work cut out for me!

Yes, they did. However, I attributed it to a fault of theirs. I ordered mine Jan 21st and on Feb 3rd they gave me a printout saying it would be arriving Feb 9th. I said that was not possible and they told me several times that it would be here. I put my old truck up for sale that day and sold it two days later. Feb 9th I went to dealer and they said it would not be ready until mid March. I got a little pissed and after telling them I was car-less due to what they told me and now would have to be renting a car or getting rides, they offered the loaner. It was a 1500, but brand new. I actually used two...the first was pretty loaded, but they asked I swap trucks at 500 miles (plus or minus a few) so I swapped it and the second I got was also brand new, but pretty basic.

All in all, I drove their loaners for about 6 weeks.

BTW, I just picked my truck up!
