blank slate!

Here's what I would do:
- slight lift (3-4")
- wheels / tires
- fender flares

That will TOTALLY change the look of the beast!

Its a 4x2 believe it or not. When i first saw it thought it was a 4x4 but was shocked when i looked closer. I have to say for this truck being 8 years old it rides really great!

True! I know i need to put Nerf bars on it to because the son has trouble getting in and so does the gf. Also will be looking for a way to boost the gas mileage a little bit. Have to admit i love your truck! a newer Ram will be next

I like JJ's ideas. Also, a cai and exhaust will help to make it breathe better and improve mpg.

Looks good to start. You could always drop it and storm trooper that thing.

Sent from my apple torching Droid.

I think i found the rims i like. would also like a different hood for it. Truth is first thought was lower it but i kind of like how high it sits now. I have had other full size trucks in the past and didnt feel like i was 10 foot tall and bullet proof like i do in this truck. I have spent a few hours looking at aftermarket parts since i picked it up on Friday.

Lowering it sounds good and all, but in my opinion, long beds look a little odd lowered heheh

body wise - unibody, bagged, chop top w/ narrowed windshield and shaved all round w/ suicide doors. Love to do that w/ a 2 door long bed then put in a big blow through system in the bed.

I hear ya. 20s? I have all chrome xd spy's. I like them, just not the look I'm going for. They came with the truck. So I didn't have a say in it

I will probably go with 17's. Im not sure how if anything bigger will hurt the gas mileage or not. Depends on that more then anything.

my two past trucks

1988 Ford Ranger Long Bed. Did all the work but the paint.
1994 GMC Sierra 1500. did all the work on this 1 too but any paint that needed to be done.

Im no stranger to lowering trucks just wish my dodge was a 4x4. Maybe my next one will be!
