Hey all, I've been spending way too much time lately researching head unit upgrades for my '15 Big Horn . A few names keep popping up — Alpine, Stinger HEIGH10, and Linkswell.

I recently saw a few people recommending the Linkswell 10.4" T-Style unit, and honestly, it looks pretty solid. The screen size seems just right — big enough to be a real upgrade, but not too oversized for the dash. Definitely cleaner than I expected.

From what I can tell, it offers a lot: CarPlay, built-in GPS, and even some extras like YouTube or Netflix — if I’m understanding the features correctly.

Just wondering — is anyone here actually running one of these in their RAM?
Would love to hear real-world feedback:

How’s the install process?

Does it integrate well with the stock backup camera and steering wheel controls?

Any issues with the UI or boot-up time?

Still doing my homework, so any pros/cons would be super helpful before I make a final call. Thanks in advance!

Personally, I'd stay away from the T-Style radios. I played with one for about a year several years ago and it was a good idea but not worth the cost. I've seen several happy customers with the much cheaper Android radios for our trucks.

Really appreciate you sharing this hands-on experience! It's exactly the kind of real-world insight I'm looking for.

When you mentioned the cost-performance ratio, was there any specific functionality that fell short of expectations? (e.g., GPS accuracy, CarPlay stability, etc.)

BTW, a buddy at a local stereo shop mentioned Linkswell has updated the T-Style’s processor. Not sure if that addresses the earlier concerns, but figured I’d pass it along.

For anyone else who’s compared these — what’s your ‘must-have’ feature in a head unit? Screen responsiveness? OEM integration?

The one thing that stopped me from going this route was losing SiriusXM. I don't want to have to cast or use Android Auto every time I get in the truck. I was read to pull the trigger on the Linkswell until this realization.

Cost/performance, you can get a 10" Android radio for $150-$250 with the same features.
