I was driving today with my 8.4a source on iPod, and it paused and a National Weather Service message for my area came on, then the music picked up again. And it got me thinking, where did this feed come from?! It didn't show on the display where it was from (FM, Cellular, etc). It was local, so it knew where I was and that I should get this message, but does anyone know where this feed comes from? I might think it's an FM override, but FM doesn't know where you are, you have to be tuned to a station. Would it play based off the last station I have on FM, even though my current source was media/ipod? I don't have the U-Connect set up in my truck, but was it a Cellular message? I thought that, but my cell phones didn't display a warning. Anyone know? Just curious.

Thinking it's coming through the uconnect cell service. The NWS alerts come through them.
