Nav Updates

I just bought my truck (used) a few months ago. I have a two part question regarding the nav system. I updated the Uconnect software right after I bought it, but I haven’t done anything with the nav.

How do I know if my truck is in need of a nav software update?

If it does need an update, what do I need to complete it and how difficult is it?

There’s virtually two updates I believe. The one for the Uconnect system and a map navigation update. The map will cost you. And I don’t mind telling you both are a pain in the ass. I just did the second update on my truck. Little bit of a learning curves. Pay close attention to the instructions.

To verify the Uconnect jump on google and look up Uconnect updates and it should link you over to where u need to be. You’ll need your VIN.
