Need help choosing head unit

I'm struggling on if I want to get a new head unit or not. I got the little 5 inch screen and I'm mostly happy with how it works. However the voice commands have never worked (when i push the steering wheel command it never works) so I have to manually enter my phone calls. I'm a contractor and I'm always on my phone when I'm driving. Ga passed the hand free law so I cant check messages or anything while on the road. The android auto units have my attention as i can get my messages read to me while on the road.

This is what I want

Something with a volume knob (I dont have the steering volume buttons)

Something my phone will automatically connect via bluetooth like it does my u connect unit. I dont want to have to plug my phone in everytime I drive.

I'd like to see my gps on the screen

I'd like to add a back up camera

I want FM radio and pandora access

I'd like to keep my stock microphone in my mirror or does anyone know of a good way to hide an aftermarket one

I dont want to spend over $500

Most don't have volume knobs that I can remember. Some of the slightly older models would work and work well and you'll be well under your $500 price point

2016. I think i would love the 8.4 but $1000+ is more than i want to spend.

Sony XAV-AX100 this also has Android Auto and Apple Carplay so you can run everything from your phone onto it including navigation

It has a volume knob and you can add back up camera

I'd run that one Darth posted, keep in mind that in addition to the radio you have dash kit, antenna adapter, install harness, etc.

If you order from Crutchfield they usually include those items. I think this one has almost everything you are looking for. Hope this helps
