Hi all, hope someone can help. I have a 98 2500 4X2 with a manual trans and 5.9 diesel. The clock spring for this thing seems to be nonexistent. The plug that plugs into my airbag module is different than anything I order. Everything else is identical. Part number on mine is 56045455AB.

Went to Pick and pull and got an air bag from an identical 98 truck that has the same plug as the new clock spring.

So, are you saying that you found what you needed or still looking?

My apologize, yes, I went and found an air bag with the plug type on the new clock spring. But it would be nice to know what the heck is up with this?? I'm the original owner yet every picture I look at from 97 to 03 has that flat plug. None have a plug like what's on mine... But after the new clock spring and the different air bag the light is STILL on...ugg. Guess I'll though a module at it next.

I have same problem. Air bag light keeps going on even after replacing the clock spring. Please update us if the airbag module fixed your problem. Thanks.
