I have a 2014 ram 1500 big horn 4x4. I need to remove the chrome lower front bumper. It looks like two bolts are under the top plastic body color upper piece that is keeping me from being able to remove the chrome part. How does the plastic piece come off? I have the grille out and all the bolts on the underside that hold the bumper on. Anyone know?

You can take the front chrome bumper off without taking the upper plastic piece off. Should be 3 bolts on both sides to the frame horns. I took mine off my larmine but since I was converting to a sport front facia, I took the upper plastic piece off as well. You can do it either way, but the two pieces are not bolted together. The plastic upper piece should bolt to the front fender on either side

Those are a straight pita, you have to get a wrench on the back, it is doable, but I remember that was the worst part of the deal and took almost an hour to get mine off w/o headlight. I didnt know about the headlight, pick whatever is easier. I almost went at it with a sal zal, but my buddy had more patience and somehow got it off.

When I took my bumpers and grille to spray them with raptor bed liner I was like "wtf, where are they being held from!" lol ... one youtube video and it solved it all haha!

Yeah, remove headlights who knew. Why things like Chilton's or similar are worth their weight in gold. I would bet they all day take out the headlight, lol. Makes so much sense now you said that.

I know that there is a way, because my Body Shop removed the chrome piece & the Air Dam as one unit

Don't know if it helps but u do not to take off the grill or the lights or upper valance just undo the fog light harness if u have them then 6 bolts and 2 persons to take the bumper off took all of 20 minutes to do mine!
