Need help with oil catch can

Ok guys I see a lot of oil catch cans on the market but which ones are the best, I see some on ebay like the VMS UNIVERSAL RACE RACING BILLET OIL CATCH CAN RESERVOIR TANK KIT (im leaning toward this one) and others that are similar to that that are running around $50 but then I see ones that are around $130. I know the saying buy it nice or buy it twice but don’t all catch cans do the same thing? What brands do you guys have and how much did you? Thanks for the help

I think most people including myself are running billet technology catch cans. The cheaper ebay ones may use a cheap filtering element that could end up sending small pieces back into the engine causing extensive engine damage.

The only ones I've heard of are the diablosport catch can and billet tech catch can

Some are a bit cheaper, some are ALOT cheaper
They all do the same thing

Yep...they just put the Diablo logo on top for them. That is why the Diablo cans are more expensive.

I have a moroso one on my truck and love it. Just open the valve at the bottom to drain it. I add a length of tubing so I just drop the bucket by the front tire. open the valve and its done. It mounts beside the rad.

Matt, I just received my BT catch can from you an hour ago. It looks like a very nicely made part. Kinda makes my truck look like crap. I may not put it on, just might put it on the mantle.

For anyone interested in the Billet Tech cans, they are having a hard time keeping up with the demand right now. We have 5 left in stock, and 20 more on order. They said that they should ship in about 2 weeks because they are out of the Ram specific Z brackets, so there will be a short delay after these 5 are gone.

That is another difference between the BT cans and some of the ebay ones. Many of the ebay cans are just generic catch cans and dont include a Ram specific mounting bracket. That billet Z bracket is included with all the BT Ram catch cans.

I ordered via billet techs website, since I wanted a black anadized one and they had 15% off at the time. The wait was hard but it shipped earlier than the posted lead times. Its a nicely machined piece, thats for sure.
