ok--newbie here. I need performance answers. I have a K&N blackhawk in the mail and will be putting that on this weekend. I want to also go with mufflex 18...in a few weeks. Does anyone know of a performance tuner that I should go with? I have never used one, but wouldn't mind the mpg increase and horsepower increase.

Also--I'll be uploading pics of the below mods I've already completed if anyone has any questions on audio.

Interior/Audio--
Pioneer AVH 5500 HBS
JL Audio 900.5 HD amp
JL Audio 12w6 sub
JL Audio C2 690s (all 4 doors)
JL Audio C2 350s (2 in the dash)

Exterior
20 inch Fuel Pump matte black wheels
35 x 12.60 Nitto trail grapplers
HID conversion to stock headlights
Access bed cover
Rhino lined bed
Powder coated exhaust tips
Bushwacker painted fender flares

Yeah definitely post up some pics!

Also, I'd recommend a Diablo tuner with customer tune... check out Moe's Performance for prices and information on that...

Or get the diablo tuner from Hemifever. They and Moe's are both very respectful.

Getting it tuned is huge for performance as the throttle will be more sensitive to input and the transmission will shift quick and smooth. Diablo base tuner is great and heard nothing but good things about Hemifever & Moe's!!

get yourself a Catch Can, and Ported TB while your ordering that DIABLO TUNER...

Intake, Catch Can, Ported TB, Muffler, Tuner = ball park 30-40 WHP I would be willing to guess.

That's A Very Nice LOL !!!

Vararam, Catch Can, Moe's 87mm TB, ARH Long Tubes, MBRP catback, Diablo with HemiFever tune... I bet that would be even more than 40rwhp...

That's the set up I plan on going with this year when I get my new truck...

I love my Superchips... I have the tranny tuning option too... it's night and day better than stock... truthfully, if they had it available for the 14 with the same tranny tuning options, I'd probably go with that again... it's the 3rd Superchips I've had and they've all been awesome and flawless... nothing but compliments from me for Superchips...

oh god yea def more the 40 WHP could be achieved with the addition of headers. more likely 55-60 WHP ball park there...

I didn't include them cause they are a bolt on, but a more in depth install.

I'd be pretty happy putting 350hp to the ground... would make it easier to turn 37" tires too... hmmmm...

Thanks

Im going back and forth on Superchips or Diablo. I found both on craigslist local.
Obviously the Superchips is about $100 less.

I like the custom tuning of the Diablo but I really dont plan on going past my intake and exhaust with this truck. Maaaaaybe headers and a TC, but that's a big IFFF. I rather spend that money on rims. I don't need a super fast truck. lol
