Hey, I'm one of those guys that likes to keep my interior looking stock as possible. My current dilemma is adding some aux switches to control some offroad leds in the front that will fill the holes where my tow hooks would go and in the rear on ether side of my hitch. My 1st idea was to go with 4th gen ram electronics upfitter style kit that replaces the center switch panel and includes the fusebox but they do not seem to be getting stock anytime soon. My 2nd idea was to install 2 aftermarket switches on the dash panel above the emergency brake but that won't work because of the box behind it for my 8 speed trans. Any other ideas you guys come up with? My truck is a 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn 4x4 5.7 Hemi. Thanks!

I used this in my 17 Bighorn for a bit.
4 chanel for multiple loads, a remote and I synced 2 chanels to my homelink.
Fed tow hook cut ins and behind grill pods, homelink buttons 1 & 2. Button # 3 was/is gate access.
Pic of old truck for attention...lol

If you have a console put your switches in the little panel. Easy to access hard to see and if you don't like it the panel can be replaced cheap and easy. 9e9cfe276e863ab4bf48613d1879ec62.jpg

There are wireless options out there. Another clicker, I know.

If you want factory switch there are some in ebay, or you could check local salvage yards.

I went with the S-pod system, very easy to wire and control accessories, not cheap, but works great.

It is a great way to go, but wasn't available at the time I did mine. Also it appears that they are not catching up to "back orders", therefore not available from 4th gen at this time.

That Auxiliary Switch set up is a Mopar part
It comes stock on a load of Rams, mostly the HD models, but also on Rams that were ordered with the Trailer Brake switch

The same unit that comes from 4th Gen came with some additional wiring that they made up

I put all my aux switches in my overhead console- Requires some dremel work to hack all the plastic out for space, and removing the (useless) GPS unit- But super clean, and not noticeable unless you're looking for it

A7F8A1DA-9D52-462C-A3BB-D16569CDB40A.jpeg I have the aux switch panel installed from 4th Gen Electronics but the cover for my fuse box fell off some time ago. Anybody have any idea as to where I might be able to get a replacement? I emailed 4th Gen several times about a year ago but never could get a replacement cover.

In my 2018 tradesmen the overhead console didn’t have a few switches giving me an “empty” panel I pulled it out and separated the single section found switches I like and cut the proper holes, ran the wire across the headliner and down my A pillar. To the rubber boot the main harness comes through and to my battery/relay set up. Hope this helps!
