Hello Guy's ,

I have a Flowmaster 40 muffler on my Daytona RC, I really like that sound, but I want to put a Stainless steel catback system on it.

Like I said, I like the sound off the Flowmaster 40, but I want to have a little bit more sound.

So now is the question, witch type from Magnaflow do I need to get what I want? There are so many types, that I don't know it anymore :)

Or is there another stainless steel exhaust systeem what is better for it ?

The sound has to be the same or more than now...

Thanks ! Greetz from Belgium !

I run stock exhaust on my truck so I won't be much help there. My thought are going to a nice reputable muffler shop and pick their brain. They'll be more than happy to try to sell you something.

Check out some of the Flo Pro or Mufflex kit videos here. See if you like the sound of those.

IMO, videos are not a conclusive answer.

Different mics/recorders pick up the sound differently.

Also on the users end it can be influenced by what speakers are used in it's play back.

For example, if you are using laptop speakers... well, you can imagine that it's going to sound thin and tinny when it may actually sound mean IRL.

Conversely, I run all of my sound through a pair of powered 12"s with horns in a single powered cabinet at the L/R corners of my desk. So, my system may play back the video and add more punch or rumble/etc into the video then may be the case, IRL.

I've watched at least 20 videos about what muffler and I cannot decide because I feel one would need to hear the example with their own ears.

My .02 :)

Check out the spin tech pro street mufflers. They sound amazing. I had one on an 01 ram with the 360. Sounded like it was going to kill me but it didn't have a drone. Loved it
