Hey y'all. I haven't been on here in a little bit. A wrote this post; about a year ago and had once again another issue with the truck.

So today my Dad had his truck parked in the driveway, and went to move it for someone to get out. About 5-10 minutes after parking it, he was going out to move it again, but this time it would not start. Furthermore, the key fob would not unlock the door electronically, everything inside was completely black (no entrance screen / Press the brake... ), nothing. The brake felt completely hard and you literally could not move it at all, it felt different from when it is usually just turned off.

So my Dad wanted to exclude the fact that it could be a battery issue, and bought a new battery. After installing it, it did in fact start the truck, but upon starting it we were greeted with a couple of issues;

First, the dashboard was glitching like crazy. The animation's were spazzing out and everything was glitchy.
Second, it stated the 4WD System was unavailable, Electronic Stability Control was unavailable and the ESC button below the screen would do nothing, power one-touch (up / down) windows were not working, the check engine light was on, it said the tailgate was open, even though it wasn't, I felt like there was a rough idle, could have just been my mind, it said the power steering was limited, and many a couple others.
Third, the white light above the bed / the third brake light is completely spazzing out in which you have to manually press the button to turn it off, but even doing that, it will randomly turn on and start going on, off, on, off, on, off, rapidly and sometimes stay on and sometimes stay off, but come back on within a few minutes - so we disconnected the battery.

As of now everything said it is still occurring, other than, there is no check engine light, as of now.

Anyone able to give any advice, comments, or anything to help us figure out why this is happening?

Thanks!

Give it a few hours. It can take a while for the systems to come back on line after the battery is disconnected. See how it is in the morning.

I'm telling you, if he had the money and the dealerships had the inventory, he would give it away in a heartbeat.
