I own a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie. V6 other than that it’s pretty loaded. I’m starting to hate the chrome on it along with the v6 which I never thought would. My issue is a local dealership has a 2020 Ram 1500 big horn hemi midnight edition. I could pretty much trade even Steven. What would you do? Same mileage 11,000

Guess it to really matters what is important to you. V6, you can't change that on your current truck so if bigger engine is a must have, then trade makes sense. If you just want to delete chrome, then you have more options. Good luck with what ever you do.

Thanks guys. I’m leaning towards getting the big horn with the hemi. Just really second guessing myself.

You are starting to hate the V6 and the Hemi is just so popular for a reason,
You have a 2019 and could step into a 2020,
The dealer is telling you pretty much straight across trade,
That deal seems almost too good to be true.
I would do it in a second.

Ummmm... get the Hemi!!! JMO... with the V6 you have nice a nice truck and nice to drive. With the Hemi you have a nice truck that’s fun as hell to drive and you’ll look for excuses to drive it!!

well it still could be too good to be true but the Laramie has a few less miles and more options. Going up there tomorrow morning to get exact numbers. Thanks for the input guys!

Well said. HEMI is a huge factor. I really didn’t think it through when I bought the V6.

Do you want the Hemi enough to give up whatever Laramie trim level features you wanted when you bought it?

Ultimately that’s exactly what it comes down too. I feel like the hemi & the appearance is more appealing to me. Laramie interior is nice but not enough to make up for the engine and appearance imo

Yep. I've gone both ways with my trucks, a couple were looks and power, a couple were chosen for some amenities. Good luck, it sounds like you know what you want.

My take on higher trim levels is that is the stuff that usually has issues or breaks. Thats just my opinion, I'm always happy with a tradesman optioned to my liking. Good luck tomorrow.

Post pics of that Hemi in your driveway!! Seriously I’ve had my truck a couple years now and I still get excited to drive it! I know if I had a V6 it wouldn’t be that way. Good luck with your decision. Umm get the Hemi.... Hemi... Hemi... umm did I mention get the Hemi lol

No question in my mind you should jump on that.

Either that or pay the extra to get into the Laramie version or Sport with the black package and Hemi.

My biggest issue would be the unknowns with the Big Horn. You know what's been done to your Laramie. But there's a reason someone traded the Big Horn in, and you might be inheriting someone else's problem. Make sure you get the complete vehicle history. You might even try to contact the previous owner. I've done that on previous used vehicles I was considering buying. Not all dealerships are willing to give out that information, but to me that would also say something. Good luck with whichever you do.
