I have a set of 17x7 OEM rims i am getting powder coated a satin black. Should look very sharp. I bought a set of 285 70 17 Nitto Grappler G2's to mount on them.

My question is this, has anyone here bought a set of 285-70's and put them on a 7" rim

I would have swarn these were 7.5, but I think when I looked before sending them to the shop, they said 17x7.

They will fit, but they will be all bulgy and stuff. Not a bad thing, but they might wear funny over time.
