Well you dropped the bucks on a 75a. Might as well get the amps. They drop low so the wife will love them and tuck away for a cleaner look. If not then go wheel to wheel. I've seen reviews on the sliders and they really aren't much of a step unless you have child's feet.

I would try and keep the factory units along with putting a set of amp power steps on there. However, the mounting for them probably take up the same space, dangit.

To be wife friendly in your case, the power step is the way to go. However, if your doing serious off road, like thick mud, crossing obstacles, bottoming out, and punishing the rockers, then maybe not so much.

They way MSRPs keep going up on a friggin trucks, I'm inclined not to thrash it off road, but purpose build an off road vehicle that I won't regret destroying when something can wrong and does.

I’d vote for amps. My family loved them in my 2017PW. I don’t have anything on my 2018. Kinda miss them to be honest

My wife and I don't have steps on our Power Wagon. Foldable step stools we've used for other folks.

Here's an idea from a Jeep website...

OEM tube steps are pretty decent as steps and look good.

Any way to modify the mounts to push the steps a few inches outward? Deter parking lot door slammers?

I had a set of these before I got my sliders. Not really much of a drop but alot of real estate to step on. My wife hated my sliders whe I first got them now she doesn't even say anything...Just wait her out she'll give in eventually...lol
