New 2018 with Alpine need specs!

picking up a new 2018 laramaie this coming weekend. I yanked all the kicker out of my 14 with the base system.

Does anyone know the speaker specs of the stock alpine system? I’ve heard they they either 2 or 4 ohm in the doors and 8ohm in the 3 dash speakers? The new alpine system is the 9 speaker system and single 8” sub.

In my experience the Alpine system in all the modern mopars have all the speakers at 2ohm and its the base systems that have 8ohm dash speakers. I've had the best luck with 2-3 ohm speakers that have a high sensitivity such as the Infinity Reference/Reference-X series or JBL's and in some vehicles the Kappa line when replacing speakers and keeping everything else stock with the Alpine system. I would try to sell your kicker gear to someone with the base system and either get some Infinity/JBL speakers or get the Kicker plug and play stuff meant for the Alpine equipped trucks.
