So I'm finally off the road traveling for awhile, had time to add some goodies to the truck Saturday.

First added new LED Sport tails to it, and the new Mopar black quads all form Retroshop. All came boxed up perfectly with all the needed harnesses. Loos so much better!!

Then added a Nitro Gear diff cover. It took more time as we had to pull sway bar and panhard bar...but cleaned up the rearend a lot. Next this week have JJ's LED bars for the front bumper to add. Will find time after work this week, and will add pics of them installed.
Hats off to JJ, always perfect customer service and product!

Okay, I've seen those. Can't wait to see what they look like and what your thoughts are.
Me too, cant wait!

looks real good, how was the diff cover install?

Fairly easy, just remove sway bar bolted to axle, drop it down, and remove panhard bar, like 13/16s bolt on right, lift it up and out of the way.

I decided to pull cover versus the drain bolt only because I didn't have the socket to pull plug, took all screws out but top two, just loosened them.
Used screwdriver to pry bottom slowly, and it drained, no mess.
Waited until it stopped, and pulled old cover off. Cleaned with a flat razor and brake cleaner to get surface nice and clean.
Kit came with black gasket maker, put 1/4" bead all around cover, let tack up for about 15 minutes, and put on. Only hand tightened and let sit for about 20 minutes., and every 10 minutes tightened a little more. Torqued down in increments to 30lbs. No leaks, nice and clean install. So you could do it all in 1.5 hours max.
I think it makes the rear look much better, and adds more fluid capacity.

Heres a better pic.

I ended up using Valvoline 75w/140 synthetic with Limited slip additive

Which sway bar or end links are you using? I plan on the diff cover upgrade along with 4:56's to push 37's.

Thank you for the info

Stock sway bar for now, and endlinks. Just relocation brackets for the Maxtrac 4.5"3" lift.
Id like to add a Hellwig rear sway bar, but scared it may be too close to diff cover.

I would keep an eye on the Ebay Leds because I tried them once a year ago in my license plate light, and was stopped my a LEO a week later because both of them quit working.
