New comer

Hey everyone,

From the great white north, I have been wanting to buy a new Ram for about 10 years now.

Totally undecided about what engine.

The hemi tick scares because I plan on keeping the truck for a far while and dont really want drop 7000 grand into possible new cam and lifters.

The six cylinder is appealing but I do pull a trailer that weighs about 4000 lbs.

A guy I know said just buy what you want because you will regret it if you dont.

Alot of good info on here about alot of stuff.

Thoughts or suggestions welcome.

Welcome to RamForum. I enjoyed my former Hemis, but don't let your 4000lb tow get in the way of getting what you want. My (current) 3.6 with a 3.92 rear pulls a two horse trailer just fine, it's right around 4000lbs.

Thanks for the warm welcomes, I took a V6 for a test drive and was very impressed. It also has everything I want, along with what the boss wants, lol.
