love the truck! That is insane that you have a dealer that allows deletes and will still cover the warranty. I however am not a fan of those tires your rollin with.

Good to see another thin blue line sticker! What area do you work in?

Ok sorry but what exactly does it mean to be allowed to DELETE the truck?

newer cummins truck(6.7) trucks come with more pollution control crap. like the EGR that puts exhaust gas back into the intake which really sucks due to the soot diesels tend to produce. This can kill a cummins early. And in 2013 models they are starting to add the horrible exhaust additive(water/urea).

Reddot is right. The EGR system and DPF on the exhaust is killing the power and milage of the newer diesel's by choking the engine. My dealer says that most of the warranty claims they deal with on the 6.7 Cummins relate directly to these emissions systems.

I know your dealer said they'd allow it. It's smart actually haha. They probably save themselves a ton of headaches by allowing the delete. I mean you don't get trucks in the shop cuz of it, but you also get many happy customers

Exactly. My understanding is that if the newer diesels are not worked hard regularly, they go into regeneration often. And apparantly regeneration isn't too effecient. There are a ton of videos on You Tube about how to clean DPF filters!
