So yesterday I just installed my MF catback exhaust and it sounds great! Will the exhaust get louder over time or is there any other method to get a little more bark out of this exhaust? It's the #16869 kit.

Congrats man! I have the same exhaust. I don't remember it getting much louder, by itself. It did get louder when I got the Hemifever tune though...
Nice big tips on these things, huh? :)

Ok that's all I needed to hear. I'm already tuned as well so I think what I'll do is go to my local muffler shop and get them to remove my resonators for a little more deeper tone.

Magnaflow CatBack kit has no resonators

if you did the install, you would have surely noticed you removed the stock reso's already to install the 16869 kit.

Mine got louder after a year, then a bit more a year later after doing the Y pipe and Shorty Headers.
...on deck for Long Tube headers and deleted cats next ...will be plenty loud for me, maybe too much.

My Maggy CatBack will be 4 years old next month, Tips are the best part!

Give the packing in the muffler a few days to change and it will get louder.
THEN be sure to give us a good quality clip for the exhaust clip thread!

You could remove the cats for more HP, better gas mileage and a louder exhaust. Downside is a slightly smelly exhaust and then there is the whole legal/emission inspection issue.:Good or Bad:

BlackRam: If I read this right? He still has them on. Maybe I am reading this wrong!

This is an entire system and magnaflow does not put resenators in it. Nothing to remove just have to wait for it to burn in a bit.

Yup that's my bad haha. I just went for a ride and I can already tell its starting to get a little throatier.
Another plus is that I raced an infinity g35 and pulled on him!
