new guy with body questions

hey guys
had a few questions on some body panels that i wanna repair on my beater. trying to get the body back in order before i start fixing it up.
first of all every bit of the dmg to this truck was from the 16 year old p.o. that i got it from.

ok first issue is the bed.

had a blow out and tore it up...should i plan on replacing the bed or can you somehow replace the skins?

next is the hood.

theres some dmg there but also it came up on the highway and tore up the hinges as well. i plan on getting just a stock oe replacement singe they are cheap and i plan on painting it as well. outside of craigslist and jcwhitney does anyone know where i could find a cheap one? also what hinges would you recomend? keep in mind im going for cheap but still reliable.

theres also the drivers side front fender thats banged up. same issue as the hood. looking for cheap replacement.

lastly there is this nasty dent in the back of the cab.

ive heard of replacement cab corner covers but not familiar with them....is that the appropriate course of action for fixing this?

You can get the bed corner replacement too, same as the cab corner. Cut out the old, and weld in the new one.

For the others I would browse around on craigslist to see whats there. In my area there are a few fenders and hoods

awesome and im half way sure that would be cheaper than buying a new bed....that is if the 2 i found for 300 are already sold. one of them was from a single cab.....should still fit though right?

Welcome! Some of that looks pretty extensive, getting the body lines back together is gonna be tough. You could ry fixing it yourself with a tack weld and pulling the body panels out with a slide hammer, but purchasing the corners and pieces like Luke said would be much easier. I don't have much experience, but hopefully you do. Good luck and welcome again!

lmc is not cheap. I would think if you could find a good body at a junk yard that would be the cheapest if they will let you cut the parts you need off.

i know absolutely nothing about welding so that idea is out. i figured a new hood and fender are pretty much just bolt on and a new bed shouldnt be too difficult either. found a bed in good shape for 200 bucks delivered. gonna look into junk yards tomorrow and see what i can find. thanks for all the replies!
