New here! 1997 ram 1500 4x4

I recently bought a 197 dodge ram 1500 4x4 a couple weeks ago. I haven't put it on the road yet but i'm working on it. I recently had to replace the governor pressure sensor and solenoid. Now that's done, I need to do a basic tune up and what not. I want to change out the steps I have on there now because I don't like round ones, and they barely stick out far enough to be used.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I thought I didn't see a welcome section, but I must have missed it. Anyway, as far as plans go, right now it's just getting it on the road. Then I plan on patching the bed and door and fenders and whatnot. Maybe just replace the whole get in one shot. haha It's getting there. It's only my second car ever. I still own my first car too. A 1992 camaro. That is going to be my actual project. Anyway, after it's all set and done, I plan on getting new step bars, nerf bars, running boards, or WHATEVER they are called. (Can someone distinguish the difference for me please?) Anyway, I want some that stick out further and are flat. Not round, and that don't turn in on the ends. Thanks!
