so i installed a kenwood touch screen double din in my truck today to replace the factory radio that was in there. the difference in sound is like night and day....my problem is on the oem radio ( i had the basic model) the plug on the back for the sirius xm antenna is a tiny little round thing. on the back of the new radio its a huge round 13 pin connector. is there an adaptor that will plug into the old antenna lead to make it work with the new radio or do i just need a new antenna? if anyones had this issue please let me know your solutions. thanks in advance

You need the svx200 or svx300 sxm tuner. You'll be able to re-use the factory antenna

i was able to use the factory antenna so thanks for that advice. the oem antenna wire isnt snug but it does fit into the svx 300 tuner i fastened it with zip ties and tape to hold it while i go on vacation then ill swing by the local stereo shop to see about a fitting...... the zip ties and tape will more than likely hold but a yr from now id hate it all to come undone

That's how I did mine on my past 2 trucks with zero issues.

You need to remove the factory clip. It's not a perfect fit. I just used some electrical tape
