Hey all, new to sight and wanted to say hello.
I've been a GMC guy since I started driving. Due to FCA's really good program for First Res-ponders I will soon be joining the world of Ram. I ordered my 2016 Ram 1500 SSV on August 28 with a projected delivery at the end of October.
I ordered the truck in Granite Crystal Metallic with the black grill, bumpers, and fascia. Plan on putting new black rims and tires on asap. Looking for some insight as to what size would look the best without messing up the ride and computers. Not wanting to lift the truck, (will probably level the front end) but that's it.
Other mods planned include a Bak Flip G2, Tail gate assist, Weather Tech in channel visors and floor mats, maybe a set of black 5" oval nerf bars, (the wifes kinda short), DE-badging, and painting the chrome ram badges black. Eventually I'd like to make the change to LED smoked tail lights and smoked projector headlights but that's for down the road.
Anyway, I'm driving the wife crazy. She can't figure out why I'm all ready planning on making changes to a brand new truck.
