New Muffler

I'm wanting a new muffler to add some balls to my truck without making it too loud in the cab as it is a daily driver. How loud is the delete pipe in the cab with windows up - is it annoying for a daily or long drive and drown out music? I'm thinking the Magnaflow 14" is the way I want to go. However, I'm having trouble understanding the difference between purchasing the muffler alone for $90 bucks or buying the Mufflex kit for $270? Also, on the Mufflex site it describes "Aggressive"...is that the 14 inch? I've searched YouTube so I know how they sound, my main concern is when MDS activates with cab drone, etc, since it is a daily driver.

If I make either of these changes, will it void the warranty? Also, my plan is to keep the resonators on the truck which I understand is the best way. Anything else I should be aware of? I've got the 2010 ram big horn.

i have the 14" on my truck, I just got the muffler and had it welded in for like 130 bucks total..but if your looking for power, just switching the muffler isn't going to do a whole lot for you...it will make it louder and make you feel like you have more power but that's about it lol

i have the muffler delete and it is kinda loud when you are stepping on the pedal and thats city driving . but when you get on the highway it mellows out.

Oh and the best thing about mufflex is that you can put it back to stock really easy.

I deleted the muffler on mine(took everything from the muffler all the way back off) and it wasn't too loud after the first couple days(ears readjust to the sound). For me it was very daily driveable(put about I wanna say 10,000 miles between 2 trucks with the setup) however first time passengers were a little surprised lol. But the wide open throttle scream is just amazing. However the 14" is probably milder and may be a better option for you

As far as MDS drone goes, just put it into manual mode where it reads 5 on the evic and MDS will be shut off. I did experience some drone around 2,000 rpm though
